James Alistair Prestige Car Sales Website & UI Design Course

James Alistair is a UK-based private prestige car dealer specialising in Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Land Rover, and Rolls-Royce. They had no website and needed one to showcase their hand-picked inventory, brokerage, and finance services. The project later served as the foundation for a LEDU UI design course, reimagined as "London Cars" to teach responsive marketplace design.

Challenge

  • No online presence for a dealer handling high-value prestige vehicles.

  • Digital experience needed to reflect the exclusivity of marques like Ferrari and Rolls-Royce.

  • Multiple service areas (stock, brokerage, finance) required distinct but cohesive page experiences.

Solution

  • Designed and built a multi-page website with a dark, premium aesthetic and cinematic car photography.

  • Created vehicle listing pages with make, model, year, mileage, colour, price, and brand logos, plus detail pages with multi-angle photo galleries.

  • Designed dedicated Brokerage and Finance pages supporting the full sales journey.

  • Later adapted the project into a LEDU UI course under "London Cars," teaching responsive marketplace design across desktop and mobile with advanced filtering, vehicle detail views, and sort controls.

Results

  • Delivered James Alistair's first digital presence for prestige inventory and service enquiries.

  • Established a premium digital identity consistent with their marques.

  • Provided a comprehensive educational resource for LEDU learners on responsive UI design.
